I am very very pleased with this set, which I think is equally nice for a boy or girl. The pictures do not show the colours and patterns very well though, and I recommend browsing around to find better pictures showing the details. It is mainly black, white, soft green with a little blue in it (tropical ocean colour but softer, as I imagine the icy water at the poles!) and rusty red. The black has a few percent brown in it and the white is off-white which makes the set look softer and cosier.
The back side of the COMFORTER has the same pattern as behind the penguins: small reddish/soft pink leaves and berries on a light brown background. Might sound girly to some but I don't think it is. This reddish/brown pattern make it look great with our crib which has walnut finish, but I think it would look equally nice in a white, cherry, dark brown or black crib, perhaps(?) less good with a very light wood colour.
The FITTED SHEET has a tropical ocean green background, brighter than the velvet green bordering the comforter, but the white dots make it look less bright (makes me think of iceflakes) and it goes perfect with the velvet colour.
The BUMBER comes in four parts, the two long parts have whales on them and one short part has penguins and the other polar bears. My son loves to touch the different textures! I appreciate that the animals do not show any particular face expressions, like many other animal themed sets with smiling animals.
We have washed and tumble dried the comforter and sheet once (together) at low temperature and they look and feel like when we got them, i.e. no problems with colour coming off or threads coming loose or filling material clumping.
All the materials feel soft and are of high quality.

Although the picture of the room with pinkish walls, doesn't do it justice, this set is SO beautiful. The greens vary from neutrals to brights and the brown is a true brown, and the white color is actually white. i couldn't tell from the pic if it was ecru or white, but it's white. There is a ribbon of cranberry red around the edge and this is the same red that's seen throughout. SO pretty. This is an incredibly soft crib set and very well made. I wanted a comforter with leaves that I could use with a boy or a girl and this is perfect! The patchwork has different textures of softness and all the patterns but one are sewn and not printed. It's perfect. I can't wait for my little one to use it! If you like the picture of this set, you'll LOVE it in person. I hope someone gets me the other items I registered for in this set.

I was looking for something gender-neutral and different than the "pirate" "transportation" and "flower" themes that seem to be everywhere in infant bedding. This was perfect. The colors are great and it's been easy to mix and match with other decorations etc. The comforter is made of different types of fabric squares that make it more interesting. I am very pleased. My son is only 10 weeks old but so far it is holding up well.

This crib bedding set has met all the requirements that I was looking for in crib bedding - I wanted high quality for a great price. I am also a huge fan of handmade quilting, and this quilt is soft and well made similar to a handmade quilt.... I'm sure my great-Aunts will be asking me who made it for me! This is a beautiful set, and the matching accesories are great too! I'm only disappointed I didn't find something like this for my daughter when I had her - I spent nearly $500 for her handmade bedding. I would have much rather bought a girly set made by carters if I knew the quality was this great!!

It's a very big "stroller", the bath is regular, but the stroller is huge, it doesn't fit in anywhere, you don't need such a big stroller, also the wheels doesn't work properly and made some scratches in my flor. I do not recomend for a friend.

I thought this would be great, since my friend had one similar. I'm still not sure if I regret buying it or not, since I'm 5'7 and my husband is 6ft and the height is perfect. I couldn't imagine bending down all the time to change a diaper on a lower changing table. Also, I like that the bathtub is up at our level, which is the main reason that we bought this tub. Our baby is now 6mo old and the plastic on the changing pad is ripping in all directions, so I couldn't see this holding up for a sibling...forget about sibling, I dunno what I'm gonna do when my baby can grip plastic and helps the ripping process along. The piece was impossible to assemble. My husband tried and couldn't manage, I tried (after the birth) to put it together, and my father came (with a tool kit) and after speaking to tech support he finally got it...you just have to shove so hard that you think you are going to break it, then and only then, will the piece be assembled properly. My advice is to try to find another model. Maybe something European? This was a nice try, but a cheap job.

We are using the changing bathing table combo for 5 weeks now. We really like it. We were not really convinced when it arrived and we put it together. However, after 5 weeks of intensive use with our newborn, we both think it is great. The working height is very convenient. I am 5-8 and my husband is taller. Maybe for very short people the table is too high. We really like that you can have anything you might need for changing and bathing easily accessible on the open shelves and in the different compartments. The changing table surface is soft enough and easy to clean for those little accidents that happen during changing. The tub is great also. However we bought a little insert to rest the baby on while it is bathed, that is more comfy and adjusts to the babies body. The insert looks like a miniature sun bathing chair. The water drainage works great. The tub is easy to clean. I also like that the system is highly mobile. So you can change its location easily. Just roll it around. My sister used it for her two year old today. And the changing table even worked for the bigger infant. She even fell asleep on it, so I assume it was comfy for her. I would totally recommend this product for a friend.

Bottom shelf keeps jump out and doesn't fit. Dranage pipe is not well desined and often leaks. Bump at the bottom of the tub is very uncovinient and annoing. I expected a bit better from the device in this price range.

I strategically picked this set because it is very feminine, yet contains many touches of blue. I have saved so much baby stuff from when my son was little, it will be nice to incorporate some of his blue pieces into her new room! A blue sheet or a blue changing pad cover will compliment this set perfectly, while still looking very much like a girl's room. So many baby sets today are modern and do not really look like a BABY's room, but this set definitely does! Very cute and great quality too!

We have a wonderful baby girl on the way! Her room was painted a lavender/mauve color and we could not find anything pretty to match it. This set is definitely more pink than purple but with all the other colors mixed in, the colors look amazing together!!! Great buy! Love all the different textures on the comforter as well.

This bedding set is exactly what I wanted. I didn't want those cartoonish looking pink butterfly sets with really puffy comforters. This bedding is very cute, the quilt is reversible, does very well after washing, and looks adorable with my crib. I didn't have to iron anything after washing, though I guess I am just not fussy about that kind of stuff. Also, we painted our room light green and it matched perfectly. And yes the best deal is on amazon, or you can pay about $180 at Jcpenny.

This is a very nice set. It looks better in person than in the picture. Some of the small butterflies are fuzy, which you would not know by looking at the picture. Only one side of the blanket is quilted the other is a print. But still very happy with the hole set. It also got here when they said it would. If you like it in the picture don't be afaid to order it, you will be happy with it.

We just bought this for our daughter who is to arrive in Feb!!! It is very cute...love the colors!!! I would of rated it a 5 but the bumper does not tie onto our crib. Our crib is too wide on the top in the front....I guess it is okay...there is a ton of talk about SIDS and bumpers so I guess we just won't use it. I wish you could buy everything alone so you don't waste any money. I would recommend the bedding for anyone...we love it!!

This bedding is a great purchase and is much more beautiful in person. The bedding is a girly print, but not over the top. The quilt is beautiful and not the normal baby set blanket. This was is not as bulky and could actually be used to cover the baby when they baby is older. I also purchased two valances to go with the bedding and plan to purchase more of the decor too. I have had so many compliments on this bedding and it is not a cheaply made set. Great value for the money.

I am happy with this purchase - especially since we found the best deal on Amazon. I did have to iron all the pieces, but once I did it looked great. The colors are very attractive and I've gotten a ton of compliments on the quilt which is somewhat unique to baby bedding. The bed sheet isn't the softest, but most bed-in-a-bath sets aren't. We registered for a few knit sheets that I think will match fairly well and be a little softer.
